I don’t believe what I create can be labeled, or placed into a specific box, or category. Sometimes I think my work is a square peg in a round hole; it ranges from carefree multi media/collages to more serious fine art. I consciously choose diverse subjects that run the full gamut...from the heartbreak of the homeless to whimsical and sometimes surreal. Although the materials used may differ from project to project they are alway linked by their relevance to the subject. The theme, or topic of the work dictates the components used and the final effect. While I use a variety of material and processes in each piece of work the method remains steadfast. I strive to create compositions full of color, dimension and excitement; if successful they lift my spirit...and with luck...the viewer’s as well.
